Yue Wah Kitchen Reviews
Not only is the food great, but the staff is so friendly. They're family owned and make YOU FEEL like family when you come. They are so kind to you. After I left a tip, the mother in the family business gave me an iced tea
The portions are big and the food is always good every time I go. We got the sesame chicken with lo mein and the spare ribs and pork fried rice and I definitely recommend. The owner is so sweet too!! She gave us tea to try just because and made us feel very welcomed. Will definitely be back!
Came here with my bff on a Tuesday evening while running errands in the area. Their sesame tofu sauce and veggie lo mein are spot on. The tofu is soft, rather than crispy (my personal preference) but the taste is great. Their spring rolls were tasty, too!! The owners are really nice, as well :D
Traveling for work and finally I found a great Chinese spot close by. The chicken wings are spot on. Just delicious. And when I asked them to make my rice hot, dark and spicy they didn't even ask why so I knew I was on to something. My house special fried rice was great. I'm a put all my travel workers on to this hidden spot
It's been years since I last went to this place... used to be a family favorite and now that I returned it was just as good. It's a very old spot so you're not gonna get a fancy ambiance, however the service and food make up for it. The owners are very sweet and humble. I left a tip after picking up my food and the older lady ran after me as I walked out and handed me a bottle of house-made lemonade. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because one of my orders (Shrimp with broccoli) was ordered without sauce and that wasn't done correctly. But still a good place to try.
Finally!!!! A Chinese restaurant we can count on. Excellent.
This food is SPICY. Personally, I am a huge fan, but you really should be ready because dishes no one else makes spicy, these guys do spicy. Like what? Well, the dipping sauce for the dumplings was spicy, the general tsao's was spicy, and the mongolian beef was super spicy. -1 for a few short comings. The boneless spareribs were over done and the sauce is terrible. The egg roll was very greasy. And I asked for no mushrooms in the lo mein and mushrooms were in there. So not a perfect meal, but I love spicy food and this was delicious.
New visitor in the area and glad to have stumbled upon this place a few months ago. It is definitely a hole in the wall but that is what makes it great. I love their open kitchen because it was amusing seeing them work the woks. Haha. We were hungry and craved for a fast, Chinese dinner! We ordered some egg drop soup, beef and broccoli, and orange chicken. Nothing special, just a typical night-in order. The people running the store was so nice! We got a free drink. Thank you for being open during the pandemic! I hope to come back.
This is the best Chinese spot in New Brunswick. You can tell they haven't changed it much since 1973 when it first opened - and why would you? Don't mess with success. If you tip literally anything at all, the lady who works there is so grateful that she will run over to the fridge and just start grabbing stuff to give you for free. Prices are extremely low. Can't stress enough how awesome this place is. I hope they never go out of business!

Fried wontons smack so much, they're so good, highly recommend. What I love about the fried wontons here is that they are definitely not skimpy on the meat (don't go in expecting a dumpling's amount of eat in each one, but definitely expect more meat than you would get in a standard fried wonton). Service was exceptionally fast and efficient, and the owner was extremely nice and personable. Good amount of seating inside, nice late night unpretentious vibes.
